The Ghana Police Service has arrested David Kwodwo Prah Afful, the individual seen in a viral video inciting violence against public officials and state employees.
The arrest was carried out on Saturday, 13 September 2025, after sustained intelligence-led operations.
Mr Afful, widely known on social media as Kwame Nkrumah the Second, was apprehended at his hideout near Kasoa Market at around 2:20 p.m.
According to the Police, the suspect had used his online platforms to issue threats against government officials, journalists, and civil servants, particularly targeting those driving vehicles with official green registration plates.
He is also alleged to have threatened to set markets ablaze while encouraging his followers to engage in similar acts of violence.
Mr Afful is currently in custody and will be brought before the courts shortly to face charges of issuing threats against public officials and inciting violence.
