Assistant coach of the Black Stars, Maxwell Konadu is confident the friendly against Bafana Bafana has given Ghana the needed test ahead of their qualifier against Egypt.
The Black Stars played a 1-1 draw with the 2010 World Cup hosts in Durban as Ghana went four games without a win.
The game offered Ghana a chance to give debuts to Gilbert Koomson and Enoch Adu Kofi as well as try a new front pairing of Samuel Tetteh and Majeed Warris.
These alterations, according to the former Kotoko boss, have given the technical team viable options ahead of the tough trip to Egypt.
“Generally it was an interesting game and both teams played well and took control of both sides with the Ghana playing better in the first half.
“It was a healthy exercise that will tell on how we will perform in our next qualifier.”
Ghana are now unbeaten in two games against South Africa after beating Bafana Bafana 2-1 in the Cup of Nations last year.
