Ghanaian defender Maxwell Woledzi has been named in the Norwegian top-flight Team of the Year following the completion of the 2024 season.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate, starred for Fredrikstad FK as they competed in the Eliteserien for the first time following their promotion last season.
Woledzi was an integral part of the team featuring in 29 games as they picked up the sixth spot on the league table. He managed 1.6 interceptions per game which was the fifth-joint best in the Norwegian top flight.
He also managed 4.0 clearances and 1.9 tackles per game as his side claimed a top-half finish in the league.
His performance during the campaign has earned a slot in the Eliteserien Team of the Year for the 2024 season
The 23-year-old, since joining Fredrikstad, has proved to be a fans' favourite inspiring them to promotion in the second half of last season.
Woledzi also finished the season on a high as Fredrikstad beat Molde in the final of the Norwegian Cup over the weekend.
