Ghana youth international Jonathan Mensah is confident he can wrap up a deal with Ukraine champions Dynamo Kiev after agreeing to join them on trials.
The 19-year-old is hoping to sign a permanent deal after ending a one year stay with South African side Free State Stars.
The former AshantiGold central defender was a revelation in the PSL league and helped his club to a fourth placed finish.
He was a member of the African Youth Championships winning team in Rwanda.
The Ukrainian side has been a constant feature in European competition for many years.
Rival club Shakhtar Donetsk ruined Dynamo's hopes of reaching the UEFA Cup final on Thursday after Ilsinho's 89th-minute strike secured a 2-1 semi-final second-leg win.
The capital club wrapped up their thirteenth Premier League title at the weekend with four matches remaining.
