The Minority in Parliament will this morning present what it calls “The True State of the Nation” address to the country.
The address is expected to highlight shortfalls in President John Mahama’s State of the Nation address to Parliament barely two weeks ago and also point out the country’s difficult economic situation.
Minority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, who is expected to deliver the address said the issues to be presented in the address are critical to the nation.
The law-maker revealed the country's severe energy challenges, the organisation of the district level elections and many other issues "which the President did not articulate or perhaps articulate insufficiently", would be addressd.
"As you do know, perhaps next week it is very likely that for the first time in the history of this country we going to have a review budget. We are going to have a review budget because things have gone hey wire just within two months after we passed the Appropriations Act in respect of the 2015 Budget", he said.
He has advised that Ghanaians give the address by the Minority the same treatment they gave to the President's.
