The Senior National team, the Black Stars, continue their preparations towards the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa, with a number of friendly matches lined up including Netherlands and Latvia.
Multi TV, Multi Media’s television network, has acquired the broadcast rights for the live telecast of the two matches.
Multi TV is in collaboration with GBC and partner radio stations (Joy FM, Luv FM, Adom FM, Asempa FM and Nhyira FM) networked across the country, to ensure that all Ghanaians in every nook and cranny will have the opportunity to watch the Black Stars in action ahead of the World Cup in June.
The match against Holland is scheduled for Tuesday, 1st June, in Rotterdam, Holland; while the clash with Latvia is slated for Saturday, 5th June, in Milton Keynes, England.
The two matches will be broadcast live, exclusively on Multi TV’s Joy Sports and Adom TV. It will also be on GTV, as well as Joy FM and Luv FM, Adom FM, Asempa FM and Nhyira FM.
For the players of the senior national team, this is part of the quest to make the grade for putting Ghana’s best feet forward.
The question as to who will be in Coach Milovan Rajevac’s final squad is on the minds of all Ghanaians, and this is an opportunity to see the shortlisted players in action.
An official of Multi TV intimated that as part of the preparations towards the broadcast of the matches, a network of viewing arenas affiliated to Multi TV across the country will also show the matches on big screens for Ghanaians to watch: the Multi TV BIG SCREEN EXPERIENCE.
As Ghanaians wait with baited breath for the coach’s final list, speculations are rife as to the fitness and form of some of the players.
Transparency is another factor, but as Multi TV will have it, 1st and 5th June presents an opportunity for Ghanaians to assess those who will be featured.
Meanwhile MultiTV continues with its blistering Fantastic Four matches over the weekend.
