MultiChoice Ghana has opened a new office dedicated to serving both DStv and GOtv subscribers in Tamale and its environs.
The new Tamale office is located adjacent the Bank of Ghana Regional Office, on the Bank Road in Tamale.
The launch activities took place on November 27, 2020; starting with a four-hour float through the streets of Tamale, the opening ceremony and culminated with a street party with music sensation Maccasio at the MultiChoice Ghana Tamale Branch.
The launch ceremony was attended by some of the Northern Region’s prominent personalities such as The Dakpema of Tamale, the Regional Director, National Communications Authority (NCA), who delivered a keynote speech, a representative of the Regional Chief Imam, DStv Dealers and Customers.
In his welcome address, Cecil Sunkwa Mills, Managing Director, MultiChoice Ghana said “this ultra-modern office is intended to give subscribers a one-stop service point.”
Adding that the official opening is in line with our desire to improve the customer experience for our subscribers with our brands.
This branch and warehouse will further support the supply chain hub for over 179 agents and of various sizes located in the five regions namely Northern, North East, Savanna, Upper East and Upper West Regions.
“The new Tamale branch, we will now have a total of 5 full-service branches in Accra, Kumasi, Tema, Takoradi and here supporting over 1100 Dealers, Agents and installers and presence in 7 retail outlets countrywide.
"We currently have over 64 agents creating over 450 indirect jobs in the region alone. This office is a full-fledged service centre ready to support our DStv and GOtv customer who walks in.”
The Regional Director, NCA Abukari Iddrisu, in a congratulatory message, reiterated GOtv’s pioneering role in the digital migration effort and congratulated MultiChoice Ghana for ensuring the quality of customer service was in line with the standards set by the NCA happy the residents of Tamale can now get adequate support at all times.
The Dakpema of Tamale, MD of MultiChoice Ghana and Regional Director, National Communications Authority, Tamale cut the ribbon to formally open the fully service MultiChoice Ghana Tamale Branch.
