Joy Sports has launched an interactive campaign giving football fans the chance to pick their own squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The initiative invites supporters to select a 26-man squad for Ghana’s Black Stars from a pool of more than 80 eligible players who have featured during the qualifiers or remain available for national team selection.
Fans can take part by accessing a Google Docs link attached to the story, where they will be able to build their preferred squad while ensuring they meet the standard requirement of selecting at least three goalkeepers.
Once submissions close, Joy Sports will collate all responses, and the players with the highest number of selections will make up the official Joy Sports Fans’ World Cup Squad.
The fan-picked team will be unveiled two weeks before the official squad announcement, which is scheduled for May 30, giving supporters an early glimpse of the players they believe should represent Ghana on football’s biggest stage.
The campaign forms part of Joy Sports’ broader effort to engage supporters and give them a voice in the national team conversation as excitement builds ahead of the global tournament.
Fans are encouraged to participate and make their selections as the debate over who deserves a place in Ghana’s World Cup squad continues to gather momentum.
