Ghanaian international Samuel Inkoom who plays his club football for FC Basel in Switzerland has declared that his injury was not serious as it was reported by some local newspapers.
According to him, he sustained a minor cut on his left leg during a league match with Bellinzona over the weekend where they won 4-0 but as of now he is feeling better and has even been cleared to play in the finals of the Swiss cup against FC Lucerne on Sunday at the St Jacobs Park in Basel.
Inkoom was speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s “fire for fire” sports programme on Friday.
Samuel Inkoom has made it to the 30-man provisional squad that was provided by Coach Milovan Rajevac.
