The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) claims it is in talks with Ghana counterpart as in a bid to set up friendly match in February.
The Super Eagles like the Black Stars are preparing ahead of the next round of 2010 World Cup/MTN Africa Cup of Nations qualifying.
NFF Chief Media Officer, Ademola Olajire, says the Super Eagles are close to agreeing a deal with Morocco, but are also holding discussions with Ghana and Algeria.
"The NFF president met with his counterpart from Morocco during the CAF Champions League final and they both spoke about the benefits of playing against each other ahead of the World Cup qualifiers in March," Olajire said.
"We are also talking to Ghana and Algeria and we hope that something will be tied up soon so that we can make full use of all the FIFA windows available next year."
