Serie A side Udinese have completed the signing of Ghana youth defender Masahudu Alhassan from Genoa on a co-ownership basis, Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
Udinese and Genoa reached a deal to allow the 20-year-old move to the Stadio Communale Friuli while both clubs enjoy an equal economic right on a 50-50 basis.
Udinese officially announced the signing of the 2012 Ghana AFCON left-back and his Novara compatriot Alexander Merkel on Saturday.
Masahudu will however remain at Serie B side Novara until the close of the season before joining Les Zebrettes in August.
