The heavy downpour which is still ongoing in Accra has led to significant flooding in several parts of the capital.
Reports have confirmed that the downpour has resulted in flooding on the Accra-Tema Motorway road leading to TT Brothers.
Other videos depicting flooding in areas such as the Adenta SDA have also surfaced on X (formerly Twitter).

The rainfall, which began between 14:00 – 15:00 hours on Friday, September 22, is intense, and accompanied by thunderclaps.
As the rainfall persists, some motorists have taken to social media to share the extent of the flooding caused by the downpour to give a heads-up to other drivers and pedestrians who are yet to venture out.
The Spintex Road has also been cited as one of the flooded areas.
Please be careful on the Spintex road. There are some flooded parts, especially for smaller and lower cars.

In videos circulating on the micro-blogging site, a man is seen standing atop his vehicle as it is almost submerged in the floodwaters.
This is heartbreaking!
