At the sentencing of two NDC panelists and a pro-government radio host last Wednesday, the security services maintained a heavy presence at the Supreme Court to discourage any possible outbreak of violence.
The trial was held amid a politically charged environment as pro-government supporters lined the streets outside to the Supreme Court in vain hope for the pardonning of Godwin Ako Gunn, Alistair Nelson and a host of a political programme at Montie FM, Salifu Maase.
They were sentenced to four months in prison after they were convicted of criminal contempt. 2015 GJA Photojournalist David Andoh was there and captured this scene.
