A massive clean up is currently going on at Agbogbloshie Onion Market to pave way for redevelopment of the area.
The traders who have occupied the place since 1994 when the Kokomba-Nanumba war broke out, have been finally relocated to Adjen Kotoku in the Greater Accra Region after many failed attempts to eject them.
When myjoyonline.com visited the site Friday, some of the evictees were seen busily going through the rubble to salvage any valuable item that they may find.
Personnel from the Ghana Armed Forces, Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Prisons Service and Ghana National Fire Service were there to cleanup the place.
