COP James Oppong Boanuh, Director General,Police Intelligence and Professional Standards Bureau (PIPS) has said it would soon make public its report into the Mallam Atta shooting incident which left 3 people dead last month.He said the Bureau was almost through with investigations.“Yes we are near completion...when the report come out definitely we will all know”, he assured JoyNews.The police last month were accused of shooting three men suspected to be armed robbers at Mallam Atta, a suburb in Accra, an act which was roundly condemned by some human rights activists.The Bureau had earlier indicated its investigations stalled because witnesses were not forth coming with information.But the Director General has said progress had been made after some witnesses came forward with information.The final report, he said, will be out next week.
