As the 2021 Population and Housing Census kick starts, the Ghana Statistical Service has deployed a number of enumerators in all 16 regions of the country to undertake the exercise.
The exercise is designed to generate data essential for policy and planning purposes.
This has led to calls from officials of the Statistical Service and other state authorities, for all persons resident in the country to avail themselves to be counted. "You, count, get counted", is the call to action.
Joy News’ Evans Mensah will tonight host Government Statistician, Prof Samuel Annim on PM Express to throw more light on reasons every Ghanaian should partake in the census.
