Swedru All Blacks secured a slim but important 1–0 victory over Hohoe United in their Ghana Premier League Matchday 26 clash at the Swedru Stadium.
The match began tightly contested in the opening exchanges, with both sides showing discipline defensively.
However, the breakthrough came on the 39th minute when Rudolf Mensah found the back of the net to give Swedru All Blacks the lead heading into the break.
Hohoe United came back into the second half showing fight to find an equalizer but the home teams defense remained resilient until the final whistle. Swedru All Blacks finally secure a victory after being winless in their last three GPL games while Hohoe United get their first loss in their last five GPL matches.
Swedru All Black sit 14th on the GPL table with 31 points while Hohoe United sit 16th on the table with 30 points. Swedru All Blacks travel to Accra to face Accra Hearts of Oak in the next Ghana Premier league fixture. Hohoe United play against Dreams FC in their next Ghana Premier League game at the Hohoe Sports Stadium.
