The Gulkpe-Na said Chiefs and Traditional leaders would evoke the ancestral spirits of the Region to ensure that there was peace and stability during the games so that the Region would reap the results of investment for the development of the people.
He expressed gratitude for the construction of the beautiful edifice in the Region and used the occasion to appeal to the people, particularly the business community and other investors to take advantage of the stadium to relocate their businesses to the Region.
Alhaji Na Ziblim said, "We are very grateful to the authorities for choosing Tamale as one of the venues for the games. We have to comport ourselves during the tournament to ensure that businesses are relocated here to justify the investment and nomination of our region as one of the host cities."
