Tema Youth head coach Edward Odoom says he will be forced to quit coaching if officiating in the Ghana Premier League does not improve.
Odoom launched a scathing attack on referee Nuhu Liman in their 1-0 defeat at Medeama SC on Sunday to end the first half of the league.
“I’m going to stop coaching because of poor officiating, we were not lacking composure but you could see the referee, any move we make is either a foul or an offside,’’ Odoom spoke to JOY Sports.
“Infact it is a very shameful day for officiating in Ghana, we lost because of the referee’s performance, very bad bad officiating. I have been in this job for over 30 years and have never seen a referee like this and because of what he did I’m going to stop coaching.”
Tema Youth finished just above the relegation mark with a better goal difference.
