It seems like just yesterday when Ghana’s revered entertainment and lifestyle TV, Joy Prime, launched 'The BMPS Show'. Few years later, the channel is ready to premiere its seventh season this week.
The bold and refreshing new season of 'The BMPS Show', sponsored by Johnnie Walker Black Label, will officially premiere on Joy Prime at 9pm on May 1, 2025, with an interesting twist.
For the uninitiated, BMPS simply represents Bald, Muscled, Potbellied and Skinny [men], and is a platform for “men only” to share their uncensored opinions on matters that border on the lines of finances, love, relationships, politics, religion, sports, and life in general. This season, the show promises to continue shaking up the traditional image of the modern-day Ghanaian man with humor, honesty, and an undeniable charm.
In all six preceding episodes, The BMPS Show is known to have followed the interesting yet heartwarming lives and opinions of four very different men - Kofi Hayford (Broadcaster), Oliver the Moulded Rock (Freight Forwarder & Professional Body Builder), Nana Yaw Poxieble (Entrepreneur), and Nanye Kofi (Entrepreneur), - with random guests making an appearance once in a blue moon.

However, Season 7 comes up with the twist of spreading its wings to accommodate more than just the regular four each week. As the show maintains its objective of unearthing the deepest thoughts of how various types of men navigate friendship, family, marriage and finding purpose in today’s complicated world among others, each episode will see an introduction and alternation of new guests aimed at providing varied thoughts to break the monotony associated with only the regular guests.
The new guests are carefully chosen to come aboard with their in-depth experiences on what it means to "be a man" in the modern era, embracing imperfections, celebrating brotherhood, and reminding viewers that strength isn't about just appearances, but about the heart and resilience.
It’s also noteworthy to mention that the all-new season will air live every Thursday at 9pm, to enable interactions and feedback from cherished viewers each week.

Season 7 of the entertaining lifestyle show returns with its regular host of six seasons, Kofi Hayford, who doubles as the host of The Overdrive and Weekend City Show on Joy 99.7 FM. He is also an entertainment journalist with myjoyonline.com and has an impressive repertoire as a voiceover artiste.
This Thursday, May 1, 2025, join Kofi Hayford and his guests on the 7th season premiere of The BMPS Show as they dive deep into thought-provoking and captivating discussions centered on men's lifestyles. The show goes live at 9pm, only on Joy Prime and its social media pages.
The season 7 of the BMPS show is proudly sponsored by Johnnie Walker Black Label.
