The Multimedia Group Limited (MGL), Ghana's foremost independent media conglomerate, cemented its unchallenged industry leadership by sweeping three major awards at the 36th Annual National Marketing Performance Awards of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG).
The glamorous ceremony, held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, saw MGL achieve a historic feat, securing the ultimate recognition as the ‘Media Organisation of the Year, 2024’ for multiple years.

MyJoyOnline, the flagship online news platform of The Multimedia Group, was adjudged the 'Online News Portal of The Year, 2024' for the fourth time in a row and 'Radio Programme of The Year, 2024' was awarded to ‘Ekosiisen’ on Asempa 94.7 FM.
This year's recognition marked the fourth CIMG award for the Akan current affairs programme.

This stellar performance underscores MGL’s mastery of a multi-platform strategy, ensuring market dominance across traditional radio, television, and the critical digital space.
In its citation for the 'Media Organisation of the Year, 2024', the CIMG Governing Council highlighted MGL’s unparalleled reach and innovative marketing strategy.

The Council praised the Group's portfolio and media brands.
The CIMG Awards, held under the theme “Marketing in the Age of AI: The Path to Sustainable Economic Growth”, recognised companies that demonstrated excellence in marketing, innovation, social impact, and overall business performance during the 2024 performance year.

The Multimedia Group's sweeping victory confirms its position as the industry benchmark for excellence across the media value chain.

This year’s event was themed: “Repositioning Brand Ghana: Marketing for Economic Growth and Transformation.”
