The Minister highlighted that the government’s newly introduced 24-Hour Economy policy presents a transformative opportunity for local industries to scale up production, create more jobs, and position Ghana as a key manufacturing hub in the region.
She encouraged Softcare FM to embrace this policy by optimizing production schedules, investing in technological innovation, and improving operational efficiency to meet the growing demand for affordable, high-quality hygiene products.
Ms Ofosu-Adjare reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering an enabling environment for local manufacturers through improved infrastructure, enhanced regulatory efficiency, and measures to combat counterfeit and substandard products.
