The Somanya District Police Command have arrested two persons for circulating nude pictures of a 20 years former student of Yilo Krobo Secondary School.
Prince Teye who was a boy friend of the 20 year former student of Yilo Secondary school Lydia Tetteh was in a relationship with Lydia which later fell on rocks.
Prince who took pictures of the former girl friend during the relationship later sent it to one Amuzu.
During investigations, Prince mentioned Amuzu as the one he sent the pictures mistakenly to whiles he was trying to send it to Lydia the former girl friend.
Investigations however revealed that the pictures were sent to Amuzu who will then call Lydia to pay an amount of money else the pictures will be published.
On the 22/04/2017 about 1:30pm, Lydia came to the Police and lodged a complaint with the police that her brother brought nude pictures of her during sexual intercourse which were circulating on Facebook and told her that the former boy friend did that to disgrace her.
After investigations, Prince Teye and Amuzu were charged with circulation of obscene material and abetment of crime and arraign before a Somanya Circuit Court. They pleaded not guilty and they have since been granted court enquiry bail to reappear in court on the 23/05/2017.
