Celebrities have joined the campaign for the youth to stop the tramadol abuse in Ghana.
The latest to add their voices to the matter are actors Majid Michel, Prince David Osei and Adjetey Anang.
Majid Michel, who is also a preacher, believes some youth lack sense of identity which has forced them into relying on tramadol.
He told JoyNews’ Becky that, ‘I think we’ll have to tackle it from the root because most of our youth have lost their sense of identity, who they are’.
Prince David Osei, on his part, insisted that the fight should not only concentrate on the abuse of the painkiller but drugs in general.
Renowned actor Adjetey Anang implored the youth to take into consideration the dire effect of drug abuse on their future.
