Stan Christidoulou, World Boxing Association (WBA) Africa President will pay a one week working visit to Ghana to acquaint himself with the operations of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA).
The WBA boss who is expected in the country on Sunday, January 28, will pay a courtesy call on the Minister of Education, Science and Sports on Monday, January 28.
Mr Christidoulou, a South African will also meet the press on the same day to unveil the progress, the association has made so far, as well as opportunities available to Ghanaian.
He will also meet other stakeholders such as ring officials, referees, judges and organise series of seminars.
An official of the GBA told the GNA Sports that the seminar is to update the knowledge of the participants on the current trends in the sport.
Mr Christidoulou will return to South Africa on February 4.
