An unidentified man allegedly got his tongue bitten off by a 14-year-old girl at Kasoa in the Central region when he tried to rape her this dawn.
According to reports, the man who wore a mask, sneaked into the girl’s room around 1:30am in an attempt to satisfy his sexual desires.
A struggle however ensued between the two and the man got his tongue bitten off.
An eyewitness reported the incident happened at Kasoa Zongo junction.
The victim and her mother went to the Kasoa Police Station to lodge a formal complaint with the bitten tongue.
The police have therefore mounted search the masked 'rapist'.
Kasoa District Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Ebenezer Kwaku Asare appealed to health facilities in the vicinity to report any man with a case of short tongue to the police.
