Ghana Football Association President Kwasi Nyantakyi says the new Ghana Premier League television deal with Super Sports will turnaround the fortunes of clubs.
Nyantakyi believes the deal will help market the Ghanaian top-flight to attract foreign investors.
Super Sport signed a three-year deal with the GFA last Friday to produce and broadcast the league and the Ghana FA Cup.
This is the first time the local league will be produced by the continental broadcasting giants.
Nyantakyi in an interview with Joy sports stated that, the deal provides the league and clubs the opportunity to market itself on a bigger platform to attract more fans as well as corporate bodies to sponsor.
''It is going to give our league a wider international coverage and dimension, it will give it more viewership and attention which will expose it to more marketing opportunities abroad,'' said Nyantakyi.
''For the clubs this is the chance to showcase the talent we have here and the qualifty of football and the standard of play and advertise the clubs to potential partners that they can work with.
“This deal will enhance the value of the game in Ghana, the value of the players and market them to international clubs so the Super Sport deal with the FA is a breakthrough in broadcasting opportunities for the league and the clubs."
