Black Stars midfielder Andre Ayew has promised a massive victory over Egypt in next Tuesday’s 2014 World Cup play-off first leg in Kumasi.
The Olympique Marseille Star arrived in Accra on Monday alongside his junior brother Jordan, Sulley Muntari, Michael Essien and a host of other players for preparations ahead of the game.
Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah and his team will begin training on Tuesday at the Accra stadium before they depart for Kumasi on Thursday.
Ayew who so instrumental in Ghana’s last game against Zambia where the Black Stars won 2-1 to make it to the play offs in interview with Joy sports stated that they are ready to humiliate Egypt.
“Anytime I wear the Black Stars Jersey I try to give my best and always try to let my country go far and hopefully on Tuesday we will have a great game and we will win massively,” the winger said.
“It was just normal for me when I heard we have been paired against Egypt because all the teams that have reached this stage are good and I think when you get to this level of the qualifiers it is a do or die affair so whoever we play definitely will be tough.
“We should not even think about Egypt, we need to think about ourselves because if everybody plays his football there is no reason we can’t make it.”
