The death is reported at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on February 7, of Madam Victoria Borkor Odoi, mother of Prof Atukwei Okai, Secretary-General of the Pan-African Writers Association.There will be no wake, but the body will be laid in state on Friday, April 4, at House number A381/2 Workers Lane, Town Council Line, near MAJOSDA Junior High School, Accra.Burial will be at the Osu Cemetery, on Saturday, April 5, after burial service at the Trade Fair Security Car Park where the funeral rites will also be held immediately after the burial.Final funeral rites will be held on Sunday, April 6 at PAWA House, Roman Ridge, near Accra Girls Secondary School.She was also the mother of Mad. Grace Okai, retired headteacher, Dr Solomon Okai, Dr Benjamin Okai, both in the USA; Samuel George Okai, businessman; Faith-Sharon Okai, business consultant and Nathaniel Numeh Konlaa, retired Police Inspector.Source: The Ghanaian Times
