Former Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, Harry Zakkour is calling for a disslotuin of the current Board of Directors of the club.
Harry Zakour says the Board Chair, Togbe Afede XIV reform the board and get committed people to run the club.
This follows the Board’s decision to interdict Managing Director, Neil Amstrong-Mortagbe after mounting allegations of wrong doing were leveled against him.
This development has sparked different views and opinions from the Hearts fraternity and Harry Zakkour who led the club in 2000 to win the CAF Champions league and the Super Cup believes, things at the Club now are not being done right and wants Board chairman Togbe Afede XIV to sit up.
“I’m totally disappointed in Accra Hearts of Oak because for the past two to three seasons they are bringing the spirit of the club down so they have to sit up,” he told Asempa Sports
“Togbe should sit up, we are not saying he is not a good chairman, he is a good chairman, leader and person but I think he has to dissolve his board and appoint people who are willing to work.
“We have to get people who want to work in the club like Alhaji Hearts, Ernest Thompson, Ernest Quarshie, Nii Ayi Bonte; you need people who have heart for the club".
