Asante Kotoko need a win on Sunday in the MTN FA Cup semi-final meeting with city-rivals, King Faisal to keep up their chances of a title success.
The Porcupine Warriors moved to the brink of a domestic double after securing the Premier League title last Wednesday.
Kotoko, who have missed the FA Cup title in the last three seasons - twice losers in the finals - will be eager to for a win at the Baba Yara Stadium to set up a final clash with Inter Allies next month.
The gulf between the two side is evidently clear with Faisal battling with relegation, having slipped into the bottom ranks on the league log on the very day Kotoko secured the title.
Though it appears Kotoko's best chance of winning the double, the derby could turn out differently with Faisal also, chasing their first piece of FA Cup silverware in their history.
