Michael Essien will captain the Black Stars as he is named in Ghana's starting line-up for tonight’s clash with the Netherlands in Rotterdam.
With Asamoah Gyan starting from the bench, Essien will take the armband against the Oranje.
Kwesi Appiah goes with Adam Kwarasey in post for the game that kicks off at the De Kuip Arena at 18:30 GMT [6:30pm local time] with Rashid Sumaila and Jerry Akaminko pairing in central defence.
Jordan Ayew will lead the line for Ghana.
