The Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Command at the week end arrested 24 suspected criminals including a woman operating in the Nana Bosoma central market in Sunyani.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Seth Charles Oteng, Regional Police Commander, told newsmen on Monday that the command retrieved 18 pieces of roofing sheets, mobile phones, cooking utensils, a camera and offensive instruments.
Other items retrieved from the suspects included sound systems, Indian hemp, unspecified sums of money, electricity cables and two slaughtered sheep.
Mr Oteng said the command was determined to ensure that residents enjoy peace in the region and that it would continue with the swoop within and outside the municipality.
He appealed to the media and residents to volunteer information about the activities of suspected criminals to the command.Source: GNA
