Liberty Professionals defender Alfred Nelson says he will only sign for Hearts of Oak for a transfer fee of GHc 60,000 (US$ 17,000).
Hearts have targeted the Ghana youth international as replacement forNuru Sulley who has been sold to a Libyan side.
Nelson is reported to have rejected a fee believed to be around GHc 50,000 for a three-year contract.
But the defender is insisting on the GHc 60,000 for a 3-year contract.
“Yes we have had negotiations with him but we were not able to agree on contractual terms because of the financial differences,” a Hearts board member told sportscrusader.com
“That will however not put us off because he is our target and we will continue to talk to him and hope that at a point we will agree on the financials so he can sign the deal to join us at pre-season.”
