Former Ghana Premier League goal king and Berekum Chelsea striker, Eric Kwabena Bekoe is likely to pen down a two-year contract with newly promoted Premiership side, Accra Great Olympics by the close of the week.
According to sources close to the club’s recruitment team, they have agreed verbally to sign a two-year contract with the prolific striker but will be allowed to move to any foreign club that makes an offer for him in the near future if the final documentation is sealed
The 2008 Ghana Premier league goal king who scored 17 goals was transferred to Petrojet of Egypt from Kumasi Asante Kotoko after the 2007/08 league season and a failed stint in Egypt made him to join Berekum Chelsea.
Bekoe signed a two year deal with the former league champions only to sit out of the team during the 2013/14 season with a broken leg which he was mercilessly neglected by the Berekum club.
The prolific striker intends to test his pulse and prove his critics wrong with his new deal if finally completed.
The Ghana Premier League is said to tentatively kick start on September 21.
