The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS), will on Friday, organize a National Conference on Sports Financing in Ghana on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Movenpick Hotel at 10:00am.
The Conference, under the sponsorship of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) and Coca Cola Bottling Company, Ghana will discuss among other things discuss a sustainable sponsorship for all the Sporting disciplines in Ghana for an enhanced performance.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of MOYS, Micheal Frimpong, said a number of corporate institutions and all the Sports Associations have been invited to participate in the Conference.
It said dignitaries such as Steward Masela, Managing Director of EXP, South Africa who will speak on the topic; Why Corporate Bodies in Ghana Must Consider Sports Sponsorship, whilst Olusegun Odegbame, Ex Nigerian Footballer and International Marketer will also speak on the topic; Financing of Sports: Viable options for Ghana.
The statement said other dignitaries such Stephen Appiah, Ghana and Juventus/Fernabache legend, Azumah Nelson, Ghana Boxing legend, Francis Dodoo- Chairman of the Ghana Olympic Committee & athletics legend, Samuel Osei Kufour-Ghana & Bayern Munich legend, Kwesi Nyantakyi – President, Ghana Football Association (GFA) and among many others.
