Former first lady of the republic of Ghana, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings is rallying her support for Ghana’s national U-20 side, the Black Princesses as they face their Korea DPR counterparts later this evening in the ongoing World Cup in Canada.
Agyemang Rawlings’ support comes at the time of a crucial encounter against Korea DPR which could see the Princesses qualify for quarter finals stage for the first time in the history of the tournament if they should record a win.
“I wish the Princesses the best of luck ahead of the game against Korea DPR and I am confident they will shine and make all Ghanaians proud tonight and possibly bring the trophy to Ghana at the end of the tournament,” she said.
The gallant ladies defied all odds to pip the host country Canada in front of their packed supporters on Monday and will play Finland in their final group game nextTuesday.
