The military has denied reports that its personnel were involved in brutalities in Odai, a community along the Volta Lake in the Jasikan District.Personnel of the 66th Artillery Regiment in the Volta Regional capital, Ho, are alleged to have brutalized residents of Odai, a community along the Volta Lake.The soldiers numbering about 20 in the company of some Fulani herdsmen visited the community at dawn of Saturday to carry out operations which resulted in the alleged assault of the residents.However, the Commander Rear of the soldiers, Lt. Col. Abase Seidu, who went to the community had denied the report.He said that his men only seized weapons from the local people.
