Ghana will not have the services of Sweden-based table tennis player Cyprian Asamoah following the decision of the player to switch nationality. GNA Sports reports that the Ghanaian has signed a 10 year contract to play for the Swedish National Table Tennis team. According to the information, Asamoah is expected to be part of the Swedish national team that will participate in the 2007 World Tennis competition in Zagreb, Croatia in May. Asamoah earlier in the year indicated his interest in playing for the Golden Loopers, Ghana’s national Table Tennis team but could not get the nod from officials of the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA.
