Executives of the National Democratic Congress in Nabdam in the Upper East Region has apologised to a Chronicle reporter for assaulting him.William Jalulah was assaulted last week for taking pictures of a man being assaulted by supporters of the NDC.The man was said to be wearing a New Patriotic Party ‘T’ Shirt during an NDC organised function.Speaking to Joy News, Mr Samuel Ampani an NDC executive in the constituency said the incident should not have happened.Apologising profusely to the victim, Mr. Ampani cautioned political opponents not to use this as basis for political propaganda.He stressed that the NDC is bent on retaining a cordial relationship with the media.Story by Nathan Gadugah/Myjoyonline.com
