Bulky striker, Gilbert Fiamenyo opened 2014/2015 Fist Capital Plus Ghana Premier league season with a goal that powered Hearts of Oak to victory against Gomoa Feteh Feyernord Academy now West Africa Football Academy (WAFA).
The goal is a morale booster for the 22-year-old who has come under intense criticisms from the Hearts of Oak fans for being overweight.
He joined the phobians two seasons ago from Heart of Lions but has since struggled.
He however set the First Capital Premier League alight with a well taken goal in the 57th minute to give Hearts their first victory.
The Phobians were playing home away from home due to their two-match home ban after being found guilty for misconduct during and after a Premier League match against New Edubiase in Accra on 4th June, 2014.
Hearts will complete their home suspension on January 24, 2015 when they host Medeama SC in their match-day-3 encounter at the Essipong Sports Stadium.
In the second match of the day at the Sunyani Coronation Park, Apostles of power soccer; B.A. United who are newly promoted side beat their regional rivals Bechem United 1-0 courtesy Isaac Danso.
