The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Robert Ahomka Lindsay has been asked to proceed on leave, and Myjoyonline sources in government say the CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority, Mr. Ras Boateng, will be next to fall out.
The sources would not say when Ras Boateng would be handed his dismissal letter, but gave hints it might be within the week or next.
Mr. Lindsay has however confirmed receiving a letter from the presidency Monday morning terminating his appointment but said no reasons were attached.
He could not say whether his dismissal was politically motivated, but admitted the nature of his employment has to have political support.
Media reports last week had pre-empted the dismissal of the GIPC boss, citing alleged profligacy and poor human relations with workers at the centre, charges he has vehemently denied.
But Mr. Lindsay insists he has no regrets for the decisions he took when he was in office.
He argued the decision to restructure the centre was to provide the necessary managerial expertise to the centre, adding the move has yielded positive results.
