Management of the Controller and Accountant General’s Department has debunked news circulating on social media that a staff has been quarantined upon arrival from Italy.
According to a statement issued by the Department on Monday, no such incident has occurred at any of its offices nationwide and “the general public should disregard the information.”
Management further assured government workers that preparations for the payment of March salaries are underway and individuals will receive their salaries as scheduled.
