The former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has been taken aback by the difficulty in Bishop Daniel Obinim's ability to meet bail conditions ahead of his release.
Nearly 48 hours after he was granted a ¢100,000 bail, Head Pastor of the International God’s Way Church had not been able to meet the conditions given by an Accra Magistrate Court.
Mr Obinim was arrested on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, the Criminal Investigations Department said in a statement.
He has been charged with the alleged publication of false news and forging of document.
But the conspicuously long period within which Mr Obinim was able to satisfy the requirements by the court, prompted a comment from Mr Anyidoho via his Twitter account.
So, Obinim cannot find anyone to bail him? Hmmmm! Judgement Day shall be very interesting👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, offered to assist embattled self-acclaimed Bishop to meet his bail conditions.
Bishop Obinim’s arrest follows a crusade launched by the outspoken legislator to expose what he describes as charlatans in cassock.
However, after spending days in a police cell, Ken Agyapong says the fate of the self-acclaimed ‘Angel’ breaks his heart.
