Patchbay Band, one of Ghana's most celebrated live music ensembles, will feature on E Vibes this August, sharing the story behind their remarkable journey and contributions to Ghana's music industry.

Like a patchbay in a recording studio that connects different instruments, hardware and signals into one unified sound, Patchbay Band has become a musical connector in its own right.

Formed in 2008 by bassist and music director Philip Acquah, the Accra-based band is renowned for blending traditional Ghanaian highlife with jazz, blues and indie rock.

The award-winning group has headlined performances at the iconic +233 Jazz Bar, served as the backing band for the Ghana Music Awards, and shared the stage with artistes including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Wiyaala. They have also released original songs such as "3y3 Life" and "Sanbra."

They will tell their story on JoyNews on Saturday, 15th August at 4:00 pm, with a repeat on Sunday at 10:30 am and Friday at 6:30 pm. The programme will also air on JoyPrime on Saturday, 15th August at 4:30 pm.
