Leader of the infamous 'dancing pallbearers' has marked his birthday.
Benjamin Aidoo, Monday, in an Instagram post shared wonderful messages from family and friends on how he discharges his duties with enthusiasm.
Of the many interesting wishes received, he appreciated one from a friend who described him as “truly one of the best persons that I ever met.
"Today, as an incredible coincidence, we are celebrating the birthday of the king of memes, the star of this pandemic situation, the guy that made millions of people laugh during sad moments.
"In Mexico we celebrate #diadelosmuertos and in Panama we celebrate #diadelosdifuntos , curiously, TODAY the entire world will celebrate the birthday of the most famous #pallbearer and who is in charge of making sure that many people receive their last celebration of life with dignity and love.
"Benjamin, you are truly one of the best persons that I ever met, your soul is so pure, so naive to bad feelings and inocent to bad actions that it is almost refreshing to talk to you and discover how sweet and lovely you are. It is a pleasure to work with you and be part of your journey this year and many more to come.
"Happy Birthday Benjamin Aidoo... keep smiling and doing the amazing job you do," the message said.
Benjamin Aidoo became popular after a video of him and his colleague pallbearers dancing with a coffin went viral.
The group experienced a second round of internet fame, with social media users adopting the troupe as a dark-humoured symbol of death in the time of Covid-19.
The group was also featured in a short campaign video of Donald Trump, which was aimed at ridiculing his opponent, Joe Biden.
