Ghanaian musician, Pure Akan is out with a new single ‘Mob3tie’.
The song who’s title translates into ‘You will listen’ in English was released on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
The single is a prelude to the rapper's upcoming album, a sequel to his 2017 classic, ‘Onipa Akoma’.
'Onipa Akoma' has been described as a game-changer in the music industry as it featured a rare combination of traditional and funk tastes.
This has catapulted the 'Sika Duro' hitmaker into the limelight with many music lovers wondering how Pure Akan will manage to outdo himself on his next project.
The new song, Mob3tie, serves as a curtain-raiser for things to expect in his sophomore album expected to be out later this year.
In the song's ending verse he hints in Twi "the album is finished. It will be out very soon. Be a little patient. Very soon people will be grappling to listen."
This comes as a delight for his fans who have waited unabated yearning for new music from Kwa Appiah, as he is affectionately called.
