Tonight, JoyNews' PM Express took another critical look at the surge in road accidents in the country.
This follows the death of 10 persons after two buses collided at Gomoa Mampong on the Kasoa-Winneba Highway in the Central Region on Sunday, August 22.
Over 42 others sustained severe injuries.
The issue of road accidents has been a difficult matter to nip in the bud. Twenty-one deaths have been recorded in two days.
Also, from January to April alone, 1,034 deaths have been recorded by the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service.
Host, Aisha Ibrahim interacted with Director of Building and Roads Research Institute, Dr Asenso-Gyambibi, Governs Kwame Agbodza, the Ranking Member on Parliament's Transport Committee, General Manager of VVIP Buses Transport, Adakabre Frimpong Manso and the Director of Planning and Programming of National Road Safety Authority, David Osafo Adonteng to discuss the reasons for the rise in road carnage.
