Bridgerton made an explosive debut on Netflix, arriving in the middle of a quieter holiday season spent indoors and at home.
With the masses in quarantine, Shonda Rhimes's adaptation of Julia Quinn's popular book series became an instant hit, stirring discussions on timelines and sparking devoted crushes (hello, Duke of Hastings).
With a colourful setting in 1813 Regency London, steamy romances, glitzy wardrobes, and provocative scandals, how could viewers resist? For those of us who flew through our binges over the holiday break, we investigate what may come next for Bridgerton.
Netflix dropped the Season 2 trailer.
The streaming platform offered a first glimpse of the love triangle at the centre of Season 2. We see more extravagant balls, the beginnings of an enemies-to-lovers affair, and even a (scandalous) gloveless handhold à la 2005's Pride and Prejudice.
The first teaser trailer promises a new dose of drama.
So much is happening in the first official teaser trailer for Season 2 of Bridgerton but the overarching theme for the season is clear: expect a major love triangle and more calculated controversy courtesy of Lady Whistledown.
