It was a night to remember at the first edition of the 2022 Ghana DJ Awards Pub Festival Concert when phenomenal ‘Gal Dem DJ’ thrilled fans to begin the 10th anniversary campaign.
The event took place at Purple Pub in Osu on Saturday August 20. Gal Dem DJ, one of the hottest talented female DJs mounted the stage for close to an hour with irresistible nonstop mixes.
She arrived with the AVO team led by the popular DJ Shiwaawa to a packed house featuring energetic music fans who came out to experience the maiden edition of the 2022 Ghana DJ Awards Pub Fest event, powered by Joy Entertainment.
Wearing a short black jumpsuit and shoes to match, the skillful female DJ kicked in with trendy and danceable songs by top artistes including Stonebwoy, Samini, Kuami Eugene and Sarkodie, throwing revelers into a total frenzy. The AVO signee didn’t just mix music; she danced and whirled intermittently much to the excitement of many.

Interestingly, the audience started protesting when MC Nana King announced she had no more time left to perform. Ghana’s finest Hypeman and producer of Ghana DJ Awards, Merqury Quaye, interrupted and encouraged revelers to book early tickets to the main event, hinting that Gal Dem DJ should be expected on the list of performers for 2022.
Merqury Quaye also called for support of amazing female DJs like Gal Dem DJ and praised her for her confidence and presence on stage. The Ghana DJ Awards Pub Festival train heads to Ho in the Volta Region, for its second pub festival.
